FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Church on Main (formerly First Baptist Church Snellville) is a Southern Baptist Church that aligns with the Baptist Faith and Message. Though we rebranded to Church on Main as of August of 2021, our legal name remains FBCS and our theological doctrine remains firmly planted.

  • No, we do not have a dress code. We want you to come as you feel most comfortable. You will see a wide array of attire when you visit Church on Main. Some dress up and come in their Sunday best, while others are more laid back with what they put on their back and that is AOK too.

  • Our Easter Sunday services are intended to be a family friendly experience, however our Preschool Ministry will be available for children aged baby-PreK. We recommend parking in our North lot for the most convenient access to our Preschool check-in area located on the 2nd floor.

Please note that childcare will not be available at our Good Friday service. For more details on our standard offerings for children + students, please click HERE.

  • We have three primary entrances with corresponding parking lots, all with designated handicap spots. We recommend our East Lot for our 55+ guests and those with limited mobility as it is the closest access to our Worship Center. Our North lot is great for families needing easy access to our children's check-in areas en route to the Worship Center. While our South lot is the furthest away from our Worship Center, it does come with the added perk of conveniently taking you past our Community Coffeehouse and indoor playground!

  • What many refer to as "Sunday School" we call "Life Groups". Life groups are small groups within our church where people of similar life seasons meet to study the Bible, pray for each other and build relationships. Life groups typically meet on Sundays at 10:10am, however they will not be meeting on Easter Sunday.

You can find out more details about groups here at Church on Main by clicking HERE.

  • Our Sunday services have two distinct styles of worship. The 9:00am Blended Service engages in worship with a full choir and orchestra and is tailored for those looking for a more traditional experience. Our 11:15am Modern Service is led by our worship band with more current song selections. Sermons are consistent across both services.

  • As a standard we do partake of the Lord's Supper in Sunday services on a quarterly basis. This Easter season, we will be presenting the Lord's Supper at our Good Friday service on March 29 at 7:00pm. We believe that through the partaking of bread and fruit of the vine, we memorialize the death of our Redeemer Jesus Christ and anticipate His second coming.
